A. Raw Bench Press:

worked up to 170kg x 1

B. Shirted Bench Press:

220kg x 2, 250kg x 2, 275kg x 2, 295kg x 1, 317.5kg (700lbs) x 1, 327.5kg x 1, 345kg x just missed (hit stands on way up)

C. Raw 4 Board Bench Press:

180kg x 3, 200kg x 3, 220kg x 3, 227.5kg (500lbs) x 3

D. Reverse Blue Band Bench Press:

175kg x 5

E. Shoulders press:

15 x 2

F. Side Delt:

15 x 2

G. Rear Delts:

12 x 4

Squat, Deadlift & Back

A. Squats against 80kg of chain:

warmed up, then did 275kg x 2 x 4 sets

B. Deadlift against 40kg of chain

warmed up, then did 300kg x 2 x 3 sets

C. Low cable Rows:

10 x 2

D. Hammer Strength Rows:

10 x 3

E. V-Bar Pulldowns:

10 x 2

Saturday 27th August 2011
Assistance Workout

A. Leg press:

30 x 3 sets

B. Toe Press:

30 x 3 sets

C. Lying Leg Curl:

20 x 4 sets

D. Double Overhand shrugs:

180kg x 3, 200kg x 3, 220kg x 3, 240kg x 3, 260kg x 2, 280kg pull and hold few secs, 140kg x 30

E. Wrist curls:

15 x 2 sets

F. Abs:

4 sets

Great workout tonight. It went like this:

Warm up

A. Speed Squat against 40kg of Chain:

Worked up to 312.5kg x 2, 315kg x 2, 317.5kg x 2

B. Deadlift:

240kg x 3 x 3

C. Block Pull (from mid shin):

270kg x 1, 305kg x 3

B. High Deadlift (Grip work):

385kg x 5 seconds (no chalk)

 

Great workout tonight…

Squats were all very very explosive and my grip
felt strong.

Back in the gym tomorrow for assistance training
and conditioning.

C. Block Pull from mid shin:

255kg x 3, 285kg x 3

D. High Block Pull (Grip Work):

265kg x 20 seconds, 275kg x 20 seconds,
285kg x 30 seconds

Felt great tonight, very strong and very fast
on Speed Squats against Chain

B. Deadlift from floor:

Worked up to 210kg x 3

C. Block Pull:

Worked up to 245kg x 3

D. High Board Pulls (Grip Work):

285kg x 10 sec, 325kg x 10 sec,  (no chalk)

E. Leg press superset with toe press:

4 sets each working up to 300kg x 12 reps

Stretching to finish the session. Long workout,
knocked on for 4 hours but it will pay off come
the Bullfarm Powerlifting meet

Squat Training: 9th June 2011

A. Squat against 40kg Chain/side:

200kg x 2, 210kg x 2, 220kg x 2, 230kg x 2

All sets felt very easy and this was my first week back
squatting in 4 weeks.

B. Conventional Deadlifts:

worked upto 185kg x 3

C. Block Pull:

worked upto 225kg x 3

D. High Boards (for grip, no chalk):

265kg x 10seconds, 305kg x 10seconds

This is week 1 of a 6 week wave and I’m currently 18
weeks out from the Bullfarm Powerlifting Meet in
Finland in October.
